An interview is required to attend any of the courses included in our Professional Acting Program. To participate in the Performance Training Program, an audition is required. (If you are international, you may be accepted on the strength of your application.) To schedule your appointment, contact the studio at 212-239-1456. We ask that you be thoughtful in scheduling your interview and that you select a time that you are sure you will be able to make.
Prospective students must complete an application form by requesting a brochure or downloading it from this website. Please send it to the studio with a $20 application fee (checks should be made out to 'Ward Studio".) All applicants will be notified within two weeks of receipt of their application regarding their status. Students selected to participate will then receive an acceptance letter outlining the terms of their registration and the tuition payment schedule.

SIX-WEEK INTENSIVE PROGRAM (Instructors: Ward/Pattavina/Hoffmann)
| SUMMER TERM: JUNE 30 - AUGUST 8, 2008
Offering daytime classes in Meisner, Text, Audition, Vocal Production, Monologue Coaching and Career Mentoring, this intensive is one of the most rigorous programs in New York. When taken as a package, the six-week intensive costs $3,250. Courses may be taken individually, to the extent that space is available. WE WILL ACCEPT LATE REGISTRANTS TO THE EXTENT THAT THERE IS ROOM IN THE PROGRAM. International students should contact the studio directly for the most up-to-date Visa information regarding your stay.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SCHEDULE MAY CHANGE PRIOR TO THE START DATE BUT THAT ALL CLASSES WILL BE KEPT WITHIN A MON-FRI, 9-6PM FORMAT, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE CAREER COURSE, WHICH MAY REQUIRE SOME STUDENTS TO BE AVAILABLE ONE EVENING PER WEEK.

Tuition Policy (our complete tuition policy can be found in our studio brochure)
A non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space in any class. If you drop out or are dismissed from the program for any reason, your deposit will not be refunded to you nor will any other tuition payments received to date. Should the Ward Studio find it necessary to cancel a class already in session, you will be refunded only the portion of paid tuition representing training that YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED. Refunds will not be made for payments covering the training you have received.
It is important to understand that ongoing participation in the program is not guaranteed but is at your teacher's discretion. Your instructor has the right to dismiss you from a particular class and/or drop you from the entire program at any time and for any reason that he or she feels this action to be necessary.
Grounds for Dismissal
The Ward Studio reserves the right to dismiss any student due to inappropriate behavior, repeated absences or tardiness, missing rehearsals with partners, being unprepared or any other behavior that the faculty deems less than participatory.
